When you use Refpoint, we collect:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you sign in with Google
• Content you create: Pages, notes, events, files, and any other data you add to Refpoint
• Usage information: Basic analytics like when you last logged in

How we use it

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve Refpoint
• Send you transactional emails (password resets, payment confirmations)
• Respond to support requests

We don't sell your data. We don't show you ads. We don't share your content with third parties except as needed to operate the service.

Third-party services

Refpoint uses a few services to operate:

• Google for sign-in authentication
• Vercel for hosting and database storage
• Resend for transactional email

These services have their own privacy policies and only receive the minimum data necessary to function.

File storage

Files you upload are stored securely on Vercel Blob. They are private to your account and not accessible to other users.

Data retention

Your data stays in Refpoint as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days.

Your rights

You can:

• Export your data at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Contact us with questions about your data

Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (keeping you signed in). No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email.
