Refpoint is a personal calendar and notes app built on a simple philosophy: everything is a reference point. Instead of forcing you to organize information into rigid categories, Refpoint lets you create connections between anything — people, projects, events, tasks, places — using @mentions. These connections form a web of relationships that becomes the connective tissue between different aspects of your life and work.
Most note-taking apps treat links as an afterthought — they show "backlinks" in a separate panel that you have to remember to check. In Refpoint, connections are first-class citizens. When you @mention something, that relationship is visible and meaningful in both directions. You're not just taking notes; you're building a map of how everything in your life relates.
Start by typing in the Scratch Pad on your home page. Jot down a thought, and when you want to reference something — a person, project, or event — just type @ followed by what you're looking for. If it doesn't exist yet, Refpoint will let you create it. That's it. Capture first, structure later.
